About the role 

In this role you are responsible for scientific/application support for Biopharma accounts through scientific consultative selling and demonstration/evaluation of the Advanced Instruments portfolio. Moreover, you have contact with customers via email, telephone, and extensive travelling to execute live demo’s, product presentations, lunch & learn seminars, and Conferences. You will follow up on Scientific inquiries in a timely fashion to ascertain the ultimate support to our distributors and direct sales organization for further business growth. Strong involvement and management of local scientific collaborations. 

Position: Homebased  

Area to cover: South-West Sweden and Denmark 

Your tasks 

  • Follow up incoming calls/emails from distributors/customers regarding application and product positioning 
  • Joint visits with distributors, Key Account Manager to perform live demos, product presentations 
  • Follow up on demo units’ requests from distributor 
  • Run customer samples to prove value of Freezing Point Osmolality customer sites 
  • Initiate demonstrations plans for customers to include any one of the following: new product releases; product enhancements; promotional plans or product positioning 
  • Initiate customer training as per the above topics 
  • Manage and build strong relationships with biopharma accounts 
  • Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills. Communicate well and verbally convey applications, concepts, and benefits of products 
  • Maintain product knowledge, competitive awareness to implement compelling solutions to distributors and customers 

Your qualifications 

  • Master in a Life Science or engineering related education 
  • You know how to implement a consultative selling approach 
  • Any experience in the field of Bioprocessing is a plus 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Solution oriented thinker, taking ownership 
  • Proficient with CRM software 
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team 
  • You are stress-resistant, and you can work independently
  • You have strong organizational skills 
  • You have a hands-on mentality 
  • Willing to travel 50 % of working time 
  • English is a mandatory, knowledge of other languages is a plus
